There is a way to search for duplicate citations in RefWorks.

  1. Click "View" in the toolbar inside of the RefWorks program.
  2. Select "Duplicates" from the drop-down list
  3. Choose "Exact Duplicates"
  4. You can then select which of the duplicate citations you would like to keep, or discard.
